She has been published in Applied Arts, HELLO and Verso Magazine. Jesse has won Applied Arts Awards and was the Co-Chair of her graduating showcase. After graduation she backpacked around the world to many exotic places such as Thailand, China, Egypt and Cuba. When returned home to trendy downtown Toronto, she designed luxury lifestyle magazines Argyle and LUSH, distributed in Chapters Indigo. The magazine’s Art Direction was by the legendary Paul Sych. She then had the pleasure of working with business guru Victoria Foley at Belladonna Communications, working on the Canadian Greatness account. Throughout her career to date, Jesse has had the privilege of being mentored by the incredibly talented David Taylor from TAXI. Currently Jesse is working as a Web Designer for Trapeze Media and taking classes at Ryerson for Design Management. The twin bulls logo originates from an astrological phenomenon known as a ‘cusp’: a specific day two astrological signs overlap. This designer was born on the Taurus/Gemini cusp. Those born on this day are known to strive for excellence and enjoy having a lot on their plate. They are also said to be driven, creative, active, energetic, persistent, loyal and reliable.
